Before you assemble your metal buildings kit you will need to lay a concrete foundation for support. (Be sure to keep the local building codes in mind when you do so. ) The easiest way to do so is to pour large square pads (large enough to support the full weight of the building) in the spots where you intend to place your steel columns. You will also need to install anchor bolts into the foundation to provide additional support for the steel columns. Before starting any work, though, make sure that your ground space is level and even, or you will most certainly run into construction problems later on.
